When I was in high school I told one of my best friends that when I grow up "I want to sell pukka shell necklaces on the beach." This makes me laugh because my "prediction" was not that far off.
I'm living in Northern California, 45 minutes from the beaches of the Pacific, and I design and sell my own jewelry made from found objects - mainly vintage watch parts. I have been making my jewelry from watch parts for the past 18 years and of course, my designs have evolved. My favorite and "signature piece" is my original design of the watchband locket bracelet.
My story was featured in Belle Inspiration Magazine in the July/August 2013 issue. Coming in December 2013, my work will be featured in Jeanne D'Arc Living Magazine.
